Q & A
These goggles are standard tanning goggles but not "black out" goggles. We always recommend that your eyes are closed during treatments on the face or near the eyes. When treating around the eye area, if you find yourself sensitive to the brightness of the lights you can use these tanning goggles. If your eyes are sensitive to the brightness of the lights through these goggles, then we recommend you use a dark, thick material to cover the eyes while performing the light therapy treatment.
Yes, the goggles protect from red light therapy.
The goggles we have available in our shop are the same type of goggles as used in the tanning beds, blocking the UV light. They are not intended to block the infrared light.
The relaxation goggles are made from hard plastic but have some flexibility to them.

I’m incredibly frustrated with the safety goggles that came with the dpl® IIa LED panel. For the price we paid for this device, it’s shocking that the provided goggles offer such poor protection. Not only do they fit poorly, but they also fail to shield your eyes adequately from the red light.
After each treatment, I was temporarily blinded for about 30 seconds as my eyes struggled to adjust, which ultimately led to irritation and discomfort. This lack of proper eye protection is unacceptable, especially for a product designed to emit such intense light.
If you’re considering this panel, do yourself a favor and invest in high-quality blackout goggles. Don’t make the same mistake I did by trusting the included goggles to keep you safe. It’s disappointing that a product at this price point doesn’t come with proper protective eyewear, and I urge the company to address this serious issue.

Hi Camille, we are sorry to hear about your experience. These goggles are standard tanning goggles but not “black out” goggles and are intended to protect your eyes from the blue lights used in some of our devices. We always recommend that you keep your eyes closed during treatments on the face or near the eyes. When treating around the eye area, if you find yourself sensitive to the brightness of the lights you can use these tanning goggles. If your eyes are sensitive to the brightness of the lights through these goggles, then we recommend you use a dark, thick material to cover the eyes while performing the light therapy treatment or purchase true “black out” goggles from another retailer.

These goggles are stiff and uncomfortable -nothing relaxing about them. They could use some padding on the hard plastic. They do protect from bright light which is why I use them.

These are ok, I wish the plastic was more bendable to fit the curve of the face.

This is my second time ordering these googles. I like the fit and darker lens which indicates to me that I am getting secure protection for my eyes. And the cost is pretty reasonable! I would recommend these!

Really uncomfortable. The adjustable strap doesn’t stay tight so it slides off your face during treatment.

I like these goggles because you can still see through them, though it is very dark to protect the eyes. The headband is also easy to adjust. They are flexible and don’t break easily.
