The filter does needs to be replaced on occasion. Timing of replacement depends on the situation (quality of the air, number of hours operating, size of space, etc). We recommend to change the filter every 30 days.

To remove the base of the air purifier – (on the bottom of the device) grip the twist handle and firmly turn the base counter-clockwise. Then, remove the base cover to access the filter. Remove old and insert new filter. Lastly, align the locking notches on the base cover to the air purifier. For your safety, always turn OFF and unplug your air purifier before replacing the filter. You should not need to use force.
When we perform a decibel test, it shows the range to be 30-35 decibels. There could be multiple reasons why the device is testing louder than whisper quiet. Increased noise could be from vibrations if the device is not sitting flat or if some debris got inside, etc. You can get in contact with our Customer Service team at support@ledtechnologies.com if you are interested in shipping the device to our warehouse for further testing.

I love this thing! It works amazing. I keep it in my bathroom because it tends to collect a lot of dust, not to mention I keep my cats litter box in there as well. I set this up not sure how it would work or if it would even do anything, but I definitely notice a difference from before I put it in there and after. It’s a great size so it fits easily just about anywhere, I place it on the counter next to the sink, and it doesn’t take up hardly any room. It does a great job of maintaining a consistent somewhat white noise sound when it’s on, which I often find is nice to have on in the background when I’m at the bathroom mirror doing my makeup, etc. if you’re the type of person who finds that sort of thing relaxing or like the sound of a quiet fan going, it’s a great perk of having this air purifier (on top of it’s actual purpose!) The blue light is also nice for night time/when it’s dark since it sort of becomes a little nightlight for the bathroom so I don’t even have to add an additional night light plug in and use up another outlet or anything 🙂 I highly recommend. It’s lasted for about two years now! And still going!☺️

Received in FFF box. Worked for less than 6 months (now doesn’t turn on). Reviews elsewhere seem to indicate that this is a common issue. Customer service says I can return it though they won’t cover shipping and they can refuse it/return it to you for a host of reasons (over which you have no control) so that you have to pay for return shipping. In the end you may be stuck with a defective product and round trip shipping expenses.

I got this in my fall FabFitFun box and before I got my winter box with the filter refills it stopped working. I turned it off to sleep and the next morning it just did not turn on and I’m very disappointed. Otherwise it was a good air purifier, only the blue light disturbed my sleep so I wish it could’ve stayed on without the light as I got it to use while sleeping

If you live in an urban environment this is nothing compared to cars driving by, people talking and maybe some honking. If you live in the suburbs where you could literally hear a pen drop and or nothing but crickets (literally)…this may be loud. I actually enjoy the sound because it sounds more soothing than annoying.
The price for the filters are extremely reasonable compared to what I normally pay for my other purifiers. I’ve been running this daily and the filters are definitely picking up alot.

I don’t know how both reviews say it’s quiet, mine is very loud compared to the other one I bought on Amazon for less money and it’s bigger too. Also at first I put it on my work desk but it was trembling because of it. You should never pay 100$ for this, it feels cheap. I got this in my FabFitFun for 15$ and I’d say it’s what it’s worth. also the filters are out of stock and you should replace them every 3 months…

According to Google, a whisper is about 30 dB, normal conversation is about 60 dB, and a motorcycle engine running is about 95 dB. Hope this helps! The filter Is nice a size & quiet – but the light is so bright you cannot use in a bedroom at night – which is what I purchased it for. There is no option to turn it off and no way to cover the light. It needs a small power indicator light. If you don’t want to use it while sleeping, it will be fine.

I received this in my FabFitFun box. I am pretty disappointed and was really shocked to see that the MSRP is $99. I have air purifiers that actually work and purify whole rooms for much less than that. The device looks cool, but feels very cheap. When you open the bottom and take the filter out, you can see that it is just a fan with a regular filter attached. It does not have any carbon filter or any red or blue light to purify the air. I also do not like that it cannot be plugged into a wall outlet. Everything these days seems to have a usb plug, but it is not always easy to plug these in where you want them, within reach of a usb plug. It is not very quiet. I thought it might be nice to have on my desk. However, my desk is in a large room with many other people, and I don’t really think there’s any way to know if it is working or not. The only good use (and way to test it) that I can think of is to use it in my car, a small enclosed space. And even then, I will have to have an adapter cord. This will probably end up in the trash. Air purifiers are trendy and this is just another one that looks cool but doesn’t really do anything.
