I was a bit skeptical about light therapy at first, so I opted for this due to the modest price tag. This thing works great! Redness from pimples is gone within 2-3 treatments and my skin tone is much more even all over. This can bring those pesky “under the skin” zits to a head in 1-2 treatments or they may just disappear without coming to a head. I’m graduating to a dpl II after seeing the amazing results of light therapy, but this will certainly stay in rotation.

This little light is SO COOL. I’ve struggled with acne from the time I was a teenager through adulthood, and especially during the period of wearing face masks. I wish I had found out about light therapy earlier! Now I can treat my acne in just 3 minutes while I watch TV or do any other 1-handed activity lol. The auto-shut off is nice so I do not have to worry about timing myself. The Essentials works great for spot treatment on those big ‘under the skin’ zits. Normally, those will take weeks to come to a head and weeks to months for the blemish to fully heal. With the light therapy, the life cyle of the zit is cut in half or more! It may go away entirely before coming to a head. It definitely heals much quicker afterwards.
