The reVive Light Therapy® Clinical – Acne Treatment is a powerful blue and red light therapy solution that penetrates deep into the skin to target and destroy acne-causing bacteria for clearer, healthier-looking skin. With just 3 minutes of use a day, the Clinical purifies the skin and stabilizes oil glands, reducing future flare-ups and potential scarring.
“I get my hands on reVive Light Therapy® Clinical Acne Treatment. As directed, I hold it over each area of my face for three minutes. The gadget’s super easy to use—it’s light and easy to hold… After using my new gadget daily for two-weeks straight in my nighttime skin-care regimen, I’ve noticed some key things. First of all, my active breakouts rapidly went from inflamed red spots to smaller whiteheads overnight—which sped up their entire lifecycle overall.” —Rachel Lapidos
“More and more patients are looking for natural treatments for acne, and the light machines are a great addition to other treatments,” says Cybele Fishman, M.D., a New York-based dermatologist. “And they’re safe to use everyday.”

Hi Chrissi, are you asking if light therapy can be used to treat cancer or if there is any link between light therapy causing cancer? We don’t recommend anyone to use this treatment for cancer. We recommend that anyone with cancer consult with their doctor before using any Light Therapy treatment. There are no UV-lights used in this device so there are no cancer causing issues.LED Technologies Customer Service answered on January 18, 2022store manager
I am strongly considering ordering your reVive Light Therapy® Clinical – Acne Treatment Device.
My problem area is my scalp – i have red and inflamed scalp, with Seborrheic Dermatitis and I have heard/read that LED light therapy could help – What is your experience using your devices on sore and inflamed scalp conditions? Does it penetrate scalp/hair and relieve the condition?Jack asked on December 15, 2021
Hi Jack, our devices are not FDA-Cleared specifically for Seborrheic Dermatitis. However, according to a plethora of customer testimonials multi-spectrum light therapy may provide relief from your symptoms. The combination of red and infrared lights can provide pain relief and reduce inflammation. Some scientific studies have shown that blue light can be beneficial for skin conditions like psoriasis and eczema. Ultimately, we recommend you discuss light therapy options with your physician or dermatologist concerning your specific issues. The Clinical Acne Treatment device uses non UV-Blue 415nm and Red 630nm LEDs.LED Technologies Customer Service answered on December 15, 2021store manager
What has been consumer response to using red n blue light devices on scalp, specifically alopecia?Linda Brown asked on November 23, 2021
Hi Linda, we do not have data or studies on our devices for hair growth like Alopecia. The spectrums we use (red and infrared) can have beneficial effects however, laser diodes are the standard for Alopecia treatment (not LED diodes) and provide a more efficacious delivery mechanism through hair.LED Technologies Customer Service answered on November 24, 2021store manager
I am trying to find a red and blue light I can travel with but it also needs to handle international voltage. Can this manage 110V and 220V?Rachel Findley asked on November 19, 2021
Hi Rachel, the power supply included with the Clinical Acne Handheld has the ability to convert between 100V and 240V. The use of an international adapter does not alter the power supply that is supplied with the device, it will allow you to be able to plug into the wall outlet to operate (provide power) the device internationally. Adapters needed to operate the Clinical internationally can be purchased locally or online at most major retailers, we do not sell or stock international adapters at this time.LED Technologies Customer Service answered on November 19, 2021store manager
