How do I use the Lux Spot Treatment?

Wash and dry the treatment area to start with clean skin, free of any light-blocking ingredients.
To turn on the device, hold the top of the device and twist the bottom of the device.
Place the device gently on the skin and hold it in place for three minutes. Do not move or wave the device around.
If desired, move the Spot to the next area and repeat the steps above.
To turn off the device, hold the top of the device and twist the bottom of the device in the other direction.

Worked better than expected! I had low expectations but wanted to give it a try for some acne I get when I travel. Worked so fast, the redness reduced within a day and acne fully gone within 2 to 3 days. Perfect for a targeted treatment when traveling.

I tend to have random acne spots pop up throughout the day so it has been so nice to have this with me and be able to use it on the go. I have seen very good improvements in my skin since I began using the product.

I’m bad about always touching acne spots on my face, so it’s nice to have a device that helps get rid of the bacteria on the go! I usually see a reduction in redness and size a few hours after using.

The optical output is part of our IP (Intellectual Property) and we do not disclose this information as it is one of the key components that separates us from our competitors. The optical energy delivered by different LEDs is not equal, and in many instances we are able to deliver stronger, more efficacious performance with fewer LEDs than our competitor's devices due to selecting the proper LED performance, resulting in shorter treatment times. What is the wavelength of the LED light for this particular device and how does this differ from the glo acne device? Sydney asked on December 10, 2023

Both the Glo Acne and the Lux Collection Spot Acne use the same wavelengths of LED light: a combination of Blue 415nm & Red 630nm LEDs to reduce acne flare ups, stabilize oil glands and purify skin. The biggest difference between the Glo Acne and Spot Acne are the treatment area size and power source/supply. The Glo Acne will have a 1 inch diameter treatment area and the Lux Spot is slightly smaller at 3/4 inch diameter. The Glo Acne uses 3 AAA batteries while the Lux Spot Acne has a rechargeable battery (USB-C). Both devices have a 6-month warranty. What is the casing material? And is it solely rechargeable, or does it also have a battery compartment? I currently have an older Spot treatment model that has cord and battery options, and a Poof (but I have gone through multiple of the Poof ones, because the plastic casing keeps cracking over time despite only having to change the battery once, if at all). Hi Abby! The casing for the Lux Spot Acne is plastic. It is solely rechargeable. The other main difference is the Lux Spot does not have an automatic timer but instead must be manually turned on/off by holding the bottom and twisting the top. You should find the durability of the Lux Spot to be superior to the old Poof model. The Lux Spot will be significantly smaller than the old Spot model and closer in size to a tube of lipstick or mascara. There is no auto shut off or timer on the Lux Spot. You must manually turn the device on and off.
