The dpl® Flex Mitt is a glove that offers pain relief for arthritis in the hands, as well as other hand and wrist conditions. This HSA- and FSA-approved device works below the skin’s surface to stimulate cellular recovery and blood circulation, soothing stiff and painful joints and muscles.

LED Hand Pain Relief Mittens

Hand pain from an injury, arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, and other ailments is manageable with the right technology. The dpl® Flex Mitt capitalizes on the latest advancements in light therapy — an FDA-cleared pain treatment.

This therapy glove features light-emitting diodes (LEDs) on the inside. The LEDs shine red and infrared light on your hand while you wear the glove. These particular wavelengths can reach deeper into your skin than heating pads, allowing them to interact with the deepest muscles that cause your pain. The lights energize your distressed cells and increase circulation to the treatment area, resulting in a stronger, faster healing process.

    I have suffered from Rheumatoid Arthritis for over 30 years and was hoping that this LED light therapy mitt would provide temporary relief of the pain, swelling and stiffness in my hands and fingers. I had completely reasonable expectations for this product and I definitely was NOT expecting a miracle…and trust me I DID NOT get one! Honestly this product is completely USELESS and DOES NOT provide even minimal/temporary relief of pain, swelling or stiffness. To be completely honest an oven mitt is as effective as this LED light therapy mitt! And due to this companies horrible/non-existent return policy, once I opened the box and charged the mitt, I was stuck with this useless product…shame on this company for taking advantage of people looking for pain relief!! This product is not even worthy of one star, but I could not rate it any lower!

      Unfortunately, our devices are not FDA-cleared for any claims regarding Rheumatoid Arthritis. Rheumatoid Arthritis is a different disease than general Arthritis, which we are cleared for temporary relief of pain. Rheumatoid Arthritis is more of a chronic immune disorder and would require significant more time to help alleviate the general cause of the pain. The Flex Mitt for pain relief is one of our best sellers and we have sold thousands this year alone, receiving compliments from many customer experiencing relief. In regards to the return policy, our products are classified as medical devices for personal use and are not eligible for return if opened due to hygienic and sanitary reasons. Since our devices are designed for direct contact with the user’s skin, and with the current hygienic climate, we want to keep our customers hygienic safety as a top priority. Unfortunately, a different type of return policy would require LED Technologies to increase our product costs which is against our mission to provide these products economically to anyone in need. We want our products to be affordable to everyone not just those with significant incomes.

    Ordered this around Dec. 29th. Just tried it out last week ( mid January). There are 40 lights inside the mitt and only 10 work. Unfortunately, because it’s considered a “medical device,” this company’s policy is that it can’t be returned. Pretty unbelievable when it doesn’t work right out of the box and you have no recourse other than to go through the manufacturer. So, I am not at all happy with this purchase!

The lights that appear to not light up are using the infrared light spectrum, which is invisible to the human eye. If the red lights are working, rest assured that all the lights are working correctly. Touching on our return policy, because our products are considered medical devices and come in direct contact with customer’s skin, we do not accept returns unless they are unopened. We are the manufacturer of these products and we stand behind them, our products have less than a 1% failure rate and include limited warranties.     You need to check with your support team. Right now I am hanging waiting for answer from them after sending product back (with authorization) and then pictures because they claim no way no how did your company send me a product they no longer carry. So ask them!

    There is intensive typing and use of a mouse for my job. I worked 23 hours over 2 days clicking through 15K of pages not including the actual typing. Where can I get product information about this hand mitt, such as the number of LEDs, the wavelength(s) at which they emit light, and the 'strength' of the light (irradiance in mW/cm²)? Ramy Mahmoud asked on June 11, 2024

There are a total of 40 LED's in this device (20 in the Red 660nm spectrum and 20 in the Infrared 880nm spectrum). Please note the number and pattern of LEDs will vary across models.

Is it safe to use the hand mitt on one hand three times with a rest period of 15 minutes in between? Cec asked on May 20, 2024

For best results, we recommend up to 3 treatments per day per area. Your cells can only absorb so much energy at a time so a few hours between treatments is ideal. Many customer's find ease working this into their morning and evening routines. However, as long as you do not have a light sensitivity, no adverse reaction or discomfort there is no harm in performing consecutive treatments on the same area.

How long does the Flex Mitt – LED Light Therapy for Hand Pain Relief last on a full charge? Elena asked on February 21, 2024

Treatment time for the Flex Mitt is 20 minutes (per hand). Typically, a fully charged battery will yield two to three full 20-minute treatments.

The Flex Mitt does come with a 1-year manufacturer's warranty if you think there is a problem with your device, you can contact support@ledtechnologies.com to see if you are still within your warranty period. Otherwise, we recommend you check the power cord and supply to make sure they are properly functioning and charging the device. The device should have a flashing light while charging that turns solid when fully charged. For assistance troubleshooting, reach out to our Customer Service team directly at support@ledtechnologies.com

why do I have only a solid blue light on? No red light nor will the device turn on. Michael Prodan asked on October 13, 2023

The BLUE indicator light on the rechargeable battery is to indicate the device is on and power is being supplied to the device. Please note, in order to turn on the device you must unplug the cord from the device first. You cannot use the device while it is plugged in. Once unplugged, press the power button to turn on. If you continue to have issues, please contact our Customer Support team at support@ledtechnologies.com for further assistance.
