The dpl® Flex Mitt relaxes muscles and improves circulation to provide  relief  for arthritis pain and stiffness, nerve injury, carpal tunnel syndrome, stress injury, and aches in the hands. Our medical-grade infrared lights reach deep, but are safe and natural, and built to last. Feel better in just 20 minutes!

 Note: On the dpl® Flex Mitt you will only see one (1) row of red LEDs light up when the device is turned on. The other LEDs are in the infrared light spectrum and cannot be seen with the human eye. Please know that if you see red lights while the device is turned on, the device is working (pattern of lights may vary).

How to Use & Troubleshoot

Operating Instructions

  1. Fully charge device (2-4 hours).
    • Your device may have a residual charge from the factory out of the box, indicated by a solid charging light when you turn it on. For best results, fully deplete this charge before plugging your device in.
    • Your device will require 2-4 hours to fully charge each time. The indicator light will turn solid (no longer blinking) when charging is complete. A full charge will provide 2 to 3 full 20-minute treatments.
    • DO NOT recharge battery after each 20-minute treatment. For best results, you should fully deplete the battery before recharging. Failure to do so will progressively shorten battery life.
    • Battery charge will diminish over time. For best results, conduct treatments within 48 hours of charging.
  2. Wash and dry treatment area prior to use.
  3. Insert hand into dpl® Flex Mitt.
  4. Press the power button to start device (may need to press & hold or double press the power button). Device must be unplugged, it will not turn on while plugged in. A light on the battery pack will show when the device is turned on.
  5. Leave device over the treatment area for 15-20 minutes.
  6. The device is equipped with an auto shut-off function at 20 minutes.
  7. Press & hold the On/Off button at any time prior to auto shut off to stop the device.
  8. Device may be used multiple times per day. Do not exceed 3 treatments per day, per treatment area.

Troubleshooting

Device not turning on:

  • Is the device fully charged?
  • Is the power button turned on? A light on the battery pack will show when the device is turned on.
  • Is the device plugged in? The device will not turn on while plugged in, the device must be unplugged to turn on.
  • If device still does not turn on, call Customer Service at 1 (800) 337-9565.

Device is not charging:

  • Is USB charging cord firmly inserted into device? (Does power indicator light turn on?)
  • Try different wall outlet or power source to confirm power is available.
  • Try a different USB cord to ensure it is working properly.
  • If device still does not charge, call Customer Service at 1 (800) 337-9565.

Device shuts off abruptly prior to completion of 20-minute treatment.

  • Device is designed to shut off automatically after 20 minutes.
  • Device may shut off automatically after multiple repeated uses if the device exceeds desired temperature. Allow device to cool for several minutes and try again.
  • If the device continues to shut off prior to 20 minutes, please contact Customer Service at 1 (800) 337-9565.

Some lights appear not to be on:

  • The Infrared (IR) light spectrum is not visible to the human eye. These lights will look as if they are not on but are operating properly. If red lights are on, the device is operating as designed. On the dpl® Flex Mitt you will only see one (1) row of red LED’s light up when the device is turned on (Pattern of lights may vary).

 

Proper Care of Power Supply Cord

  • DO NOT WRAP the cord around the power supply or the device. Doing so will cause stress to the cord, resulting in damage and possible electrical burst.

  • Replacement of power supply is at the owner’s expense.
  • DO maintain the power supply cord by folding the cord and securing it with a twist tie.
