The device is silent. An older model of the Nuve Pain had a fan but the latest model does not include a fan.

How often should I be using this? I don't see anything in the user guide. It only says use for 15-20m, no more than 3 times a day. So can it be used every day? Every other day? Lee asked on June 5, 2024

Our FDA-Clearance is based on a single 20-minute treatment per day. Optimal results are achieved with regular use. Depending on the nature of your pain, and if it is chronic, relief may take time and require multiple treatments. For maximum results, use up to 3x per day, per area directly on the skin. We hope you notice some pain relief soon!

Our dpl devices use powerful, professional-grade, infrared and red LEDs to reduce pain, increase circulation, reduce swelling, and accelerate healing for both chronic and injury-related pain by increasing cellular repair, and reproduction. Your cells absorb energy from the light and become more active. All of our devices meet or exceed FDA requirements for irradiance output. The optical output is part of our IP (Intellectual Property) and we do not disclose this information as it is one of the key components that separates us from our competitors. The dpl Nuve features an effective combination of Infrared (880nm) and Red (660nm) LEDs and comes with a 1-year warranty.
