Hi Pamela, when using light therapy for anti-aging results, consistency is key! This will help treating fine lines that can be found around the lip area. Additionally, know to avoid any light therapy activated ingredients such as retinol – may be used but AFTER each treatment. There will be visible results with consistency and proper care after 8 weeks of use. Taking before and after photos of the area, with the same camera, in the same light / at the same time of day will also help in seeing results as they are subtle!

Can you use this while also using the LED red light panel on your full face (not at the same time but during the same time period) or will that be redundant/too much red light on your mouth area?Haley asked on September 24, 2024
Yes, you can use both. While all our devices are built using the same technology and all our anti-aging devices use the same light spectrums, using a device like the Lip Care will yield better results specifically in that area due to the proximity of the lights to that area. This is especially true of the Lip Care because in the mouth, the tissue is thinner and there are more capillaries to increased blood flow. The DPL IIa panel will provide a large treatment area such as the whole face but is not quite as targeted as the Lip Care device will be specifically for those "around the mouth" wrinkles and lip plumping. As long as your are not light sensitive and do not see any unexpected results, multiple light therapy treatments a day is safe. you will need an adapter that will plug into the international wall outlet. You will attach the adapter on the power cord, giving you the ability to plug the power cord into the international outlet - the power supply will convert.

What is the proper method for placement of the device ? Do I bite onto the silicone, so there’s a silicone barrier in between my skin and the LED ? Or do I put the whole silicone piece in my mouth so that the LED light is shining directly onto my skin? There is nothing in instructions to clarify this.Lisa asked on January 16, 2024
Gently grip the mouth tray with your teeth, do not bite down as you could puncture the silicone. The LED Lights should be directly on the exterior of the lips. Your upper lip will be in between the silicone and LED lights for maximum light exposure.
